Las Casitas del Colca is a haven of peace and tranquillity in the heart
of Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world. This
luxurious Orient-Express lodge boasts twenty individual casitas offering
supreme privacy and exclusivity and an opportunity to experience the
beauty of the Andes.
Spend a few days in harmony with the Colca Canyon, its nature and
community, complete with the freedom to do as much or as little as you
wish.
Dotted throughout the property, offering supreme privacy and
exclusivity are twenty individual luxury casitas.
The casitas have been built and decorated with the beauty of the locality
in mind. The emphasis has been placed on natural materials; walls
are made of brick whilst roofs are constructed of wood and
handcrafted tiles.
Beautiful Laja stone floors are laid in the casitas and on the
terraces, complete with under floor heating.
Each casita has a private terrace, and a heated plunge pool, ideal
for relaxing after a day exploring the delights of the Colca Canyon.
There are eleven twin-bedded casitas and eight king-bedded casitas
each of which occupies an area of 120 metres square, of which 80
metres square is indoor space. There is also a larger Presidential
Casita which measures 197 metres square.
In each casita a foyer leads to the bedroom and lounge area. In the
seating area, a comfortable sofa faces a working open fireplace, and
a writing desk is also provided.
Bathrooms are reached through the dressing area, and are truly
luxurious with double sinks and both indoor and outdoor showers
allowing you a real 'back to nature' experience of showering under
the open sky.
Floors are laid with marble and each bathroom also features a bathtub located
under a glass roof, allowing guests to lie back and gaze up at the
stars in the night sky

consecutive days or more in Peru. To avoid this tax, foreign nationals
and Peruvians who live abroad must present during hotel check-in their
Customs stamped Andean Immigration Card - TAM, their Customs stamped
original passport and the visa that certifies they live abroad (this
last requirement is only for Peruvians that live outside Peru).
Additionally, in case the room is shared by both a taxable and a
non-taxable guest at the same time, the Sales Tax will be applied.
